We can speak to one another in various tones of voices to communicate our emotions or to get our point across. We can go from loud, boisterous dissatisfaction and anger to loud shouts of joy and happiness to heart wrenching groans of sorrow and pain in our ranges of communication. We communicate our thoughts, intentions and emotions to each other using all of our vocal expressions and tones of voices as well as our choice of words.
However, when it comes to God speaking to us, we seem to want to limit God to only communicating with us through soft and sugar-coated tones of reconciliation, endearment, entitlement, sympathy and forgiveness. The unrepentant seems to only wants God and salvation on their own terms.
Many Christian religious sects have taken elaborate steps to insure that their version of eternal truth, righteousness and salvation is the only message heard from their pulpits and in their churches. Anything contrary to their corrupted self-serving and demonic doctrines is summarily dismissed as unintelligent, backward, archaic, irrelevant and untrue. Anyone who dares to preach or teach The True Gospel of the KINGDOM of GOD and The TRUE WAY of SALVATION is demonized and ostracized. (John 15:18-19 and Matthew 10:25)
If GOD ever raises HIS voice to rebuke us sternly, chasten or discipline us firmly or to urgently warn us, then some of us have a problem with God and His messenger. Some of us tend to question the validity of the message, the messenger and the One who sent them both. (1 Samuel 8:7 and Luke 10:16)
Don’t let the world’s lies, views and propaganda about Christianity, Church, Preaching, Salvation and The Gospel deceive and prejudice you against the TRUTH and God’s TRUE WAY OF SALVATION. (Acts 2:37-42 and 2 John 1:9-11)
It would serve us well to remember that GOD, HIS ONE WAY, HIS ONE TRUTH nor HIS ONE TRUE CHURCH has to meet our perception or understanding of them. It is we who must be born again in order to understand and see them. (John 3:3-7)
And it is God’s desire that we learn of HIM in order to see Him and receive the immeasurable and unimaginable gifts that He has prepared for those of us who love HIM. And it is because of His LOVE for us that He chastens us so as not to lose us to the devices of our own lusts and the deceptions of Satan.
Questioning or doubting the LOVE and WORD of God will only destroy the one doing the doubting. It doesn’t change God’s Word or disqualify the one by whom the message was sent. (Ezekiel 33:7-9 and John 3:18)
Regardless of the harshness of the Rebuke of God, it comes from a place of LOVE and restoration.
Don’t get it twisted! Just because The LORD chastens us doesn’t mean that He hates us. To the contrary, He LOVES us enough not to allow us to continue in the pathway of error and destruction without giving us warning and disciplining us so that we would repent.
ALL GLORY BELONGS TO GOD!
