In order to help and love some folks, we have to love them and help them in the manner that they think is best for them and not in the way that we think is best for them.
We are not all-knowing! We are not God.
And if the love is genuine and pure, why does it matter if things are done our way?! Isn’t it more important to show love than to have our way about our love?
“Love doesn’t insist upon its own way.”
Love says, “Not my will, but thine be done.”
When God wanted to demonstrate His Love toward us, He did not insist upon us Keeping Every Letter of His LAW, although it was and still is His right to do so. God yielded His Glory and gave up His Righteousness in order to take on our humanity and become sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God.
Oh What A Mighty God We Serve!!! Oh With What Wonderful, Glorious And Immeasurable Love He Does Love Us.
And when we become Christ’s, we love Like Christ. We don’t insist upon our own way but we look to THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE. We look to Yeshua himself who is The Author and The Perfecter of our Faith; who for the joy that was His, endured the cross and ignored the shame and sits upon the right side of the throne of God.
Therefore, seek to demonstrate the LOVE of God by imitating the willingness of Christ to be submissive to the Will of THE FATHER – not insisting on His own glory but yielding to God’s WAY, He emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men.
2 Corinthians 8:9
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.
If we really want to help someone and invest love into their lives, sometimes we must divest ourselves of our own rights and privileges and become servants of the very ones we were sent to aid.
Isn’t this THE WAY?
